2nd Unit Director (DGA) Chelsea has always had a passion for the performing arts and her career in the film and television industry has already spanned more than 20 years. After starting out as a child actress, with a background in gymnastics and martial arts, it was a natural progression for her to find enjoyment in becoming a professional stunt performer. She earned her spurs by working as the Assistant Stunt Coordinator on blockbusters such as Dawn Of The Planet of the Apes and Terminator Genisys. As a Stunt Coordinator, she has designed and brought to life the action for numerous feature films and TV series working with high profile actors including Ben Affleck, Tom Hardy, Diane Keaton, Samuel L Jackson and Sean Penn. Her skills at inventing, planning, and executing thrilling action sequences both safely and on budget is well known and admired throughout the industry. As a Second Unit Director, Chelsea has taken on numerous projects in both film and television, showcasing her talent for capturing complex action sequences and narrative-driven scenes. Her keen eye for detail and ability to elevate storytelling through dynamic visuals have made her a sought-after collaborator for directors. A dedicated member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA), Chelsea continues to pursue a variety of directorial roles, building on her extensive experience and passion for creating impactful, memorable cinematic moments. |
Mike Yahn
Fight Coordinator
Stunt Coordinator After graduating college in New York City Mike became an accomplished stage and screen fight coordinator specializing in both hand to hand and sword fighting choreography. His talent in both stunts and cinematography has made Mike the "go to" person for the creation of pre visualizations for the stunt community in New Orleans. His "Pre-Viz's" are produced to such a high standard that many directors praise his work on set. With extensive experience creating visually impactful action whilst maintaining high safety standards he is able to produce quality work time and time again. Mike's ease in which he can instruct and coax performances from actors is based on his years of teaching experience. As a regular instructor at places such as NYU and Michigan State as well as being a partner in the stage and film combat training company "Combat Incorporated", and a certified teacher with the Society of American Fight Directors Mike shines in the mentoring and education within our industry. |
Deven MacNair
Intimacy Coordinator
Stunt Coordinator Deven got her start in live action theater after attaining a B.A. at Northwestern State University. From her early days at Universal Studios and being cast in the lead of a stunt show in Japan, to becoming a G.L.O.W (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) talent in Los Angeles and performing as a wrestler all around the world Deven has built a stellar resume. Her appreciation for the art of stunts and her keen eye and understanding of what it takes to get an actor comfortable and performing to their best in an action sequence is what she is renowned for and excels at. With more than 20 years of experience in the film industry Deven has become the "go-to" person for advocating for higher standards in intimate/delicate scenes. This work has lead her to collaborate with SAG-AFTRA in setting the protocols and guidelines for all Intimacy Coordinators and Directors. Having developed and hosted workshops for studios including Paramount and CBS on Intimacy Coordinating, Deven leads the fields in educating actors, directors, and crew along side working with legal department to protect both actors and production during the filming of intimate and traumatic scenes. |
Connor Turley
Stunt Rigging Coordinator
Safety Coordinator Connor has over 35 years experience moving people safely on ropes in not only the Stunt and Entertainment industries but also within the Industrial Rope Access and Search & Rescue fields. With an extensive background in Search and Rescue in Europe, Australia and North America, he transitioned his skills into training riggers in the Industrial and Entertainment sectors with ease. As a member of the IRATA Executive Committee it is generally accepted that he is one of the preeminent authorities on rope access training in the world. He exclusively holds the training contract for Cirque Du Soleil to train and certify all of their stage riggers through Altius Technical Services, his training company. Altius has 7 locations throughout the United States of America, Canada and South Africa and is the largest training company of its kind in the world training thousands of technicians each year. Connor's passion is safety, and he is consistently pushing for better and safer methods of carrying out stunt and rigging work and upping the standards across the industry. Connor's goal is to leave the industry safer and better trained than he found it. He is currently working with other stunt rigging coordinators at top of their field and SAG-AFTRA on creating a Training and Certification standard for Stunt Riggers in the film and television industry. |
